WHAT DO YOU LOVE MOST ABOUT YOUR WORK?
After beginning my career in financial services, I realized the largest gap for most people was planning and saving for their retirement, so I decided to focus on employer-sponsored plans and have never looked back. As a retirement plan consultant, I work with my clients to ensure their benefit program is doing the most for the business and the participants. As an advisor, I work with individuals to ensure they’re getting the most out of their employer’s program and have the support and resources they need for other wealth management and planning needs.
WHAT MOTIVATED YOU TO BECOME A FINANCIAL PROFESSIONAL?
I ended up falling in love with the financial industry…always changing, always different challenges, always requiring creative and critical thinking to develop different solutions…and being a financial professional allows me to help others, whether they are businesses or individuals, navigate the complexities of their situation and find solutions to fit and meet their needs.
WHAT HAS BEEN YOUR BIGGEST SUCCESS IN THE PAST YEAR?
Finding and joining the team here at R&R…a great group of people, united and resolved to solve the challenges our clients and their employees face.
HOW DO YOU HELP YOUR CUSTOMERS OVERCOME THEIR CHALLENGES?
Follow a diligent process to ensure a complete understanding of their needs and utilize my experience and resources to collaboratively examine potential solutions to find the most suitable way forward.
WHAT DID YOU WAKE UP EXCITED ABOUT TODAY?
Getting my workout in…it gets and keeps me energized for the day!
WHAT ARE YOU MOST LOOKING FORWARD TO WITH YOUR WORK IN THE YEAR TO COME?
Getting to know all our existing clients in order to foster and build trust, in addition to partnering with new clients, all towards helping business owners improve the lives of their employees, while also helping those employees feel better about and improve the lives of all those around them.
HOW CAN I HELP YOU?
I am dedicated almost exclusively to employer-sponsored retirement plans, whether they be 401(k) plans for for-profit companies, 403(b) plans for non-profit organizations, or a SIMPLE IRA if that is the best fit for a new and/or small business. I can also leverage considerable resources to help with business valuations and buy-sell arrangements, succession planning, key person protection, and other more traditional individual wealth management and financial planning needs.
EDUCATION AND LICENSES
I obtained my Bachelor of Science degrees from the University of Wisconsin – Platteville in Business Administration, with a focus on Marketing and Spanish. In addition, I holds FINRA Series 7 and 66 securities licenses, as well as Life and Accident & Health insurance licenses, and I have earned the Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF®) designation.
