WHAT MOTIVATED YOU TO BECOME A FINANCIAL ADVISOR?
My dad – Marty Jannsen – among other things, was an accountant and an entrepreneur. As an adult, I joined the accounting firm. But I quickly realized that while I was in the right industry, I wanted to have a different positive impact. I watched too many times over the years where people were misled or made poor decisions in their lives.
WHAT HAS BEEN YOUR BIGGEST SUCCESS IN THE PAST YEAR (CAN BE PERSONAL)?
The COVID virus changed our world in 2020. Like most everyone, vacations and travel plans came to a screeching halt. My wife and I adapted and overcame the temporary new normal. We found a stay-cation location that allows us to escape for a little while and come back refreshed to tackle the week ahead.
HOW DO YOU HELP YOUR CUSTOMERS OVERCOME THEIR CHALLENGES?
I listen to what they have to say, understand what they are trying to accomplish and give them a path without emotional “interference” to the best answer.
WHAT ARE YOU MOST LOOKING FORWARD TO WITH YOUR WORK IN THE YEAR TO COME?
I’m excited about continuing to grow and develop our team. We have a lot of new members. Helping them gain more knowledge to help our clients achieve success is a great way to spend my days.
HOW CAN I HELP YOU?
By taking the emotion out of decisions (which is tough to do when you’re in the middle of it). I can help you see the path to your defined success.
